My psychological tech-horror novel, #MyDeath, explores a world where an app does more than follow trends. It predicts death.
The story follows Eden Cross, a popular online creator known for exposing internet hoaxes and proving viral stories wrong. Eden has built her platform by refusing to believe everything she sees online. When disturbing videos from an app called VANTA begin appearing, she assumes they are another elaborate trick created for attention.

Viewers can watch, comment, share, and even vote on the details. The more engagement a video receives, the more control the app appears to gain over what happens in real life.
At first, Eden is determined to uncover the truth behind VANTA. She believes someone must be creating the videos, manipulating the victims, or using advanced technology to fool millions of people. But everything changes when Eden discovers that the app has uploaded a death video featuring her.
Now she is no longer investigating the story.
She is the story.
Eden must figure out who created VANTA, how it knows so much about its victims, and whether a predicted death can truly be stopped. Every view brings the app more power. Every reaction could change what happens next. Even the people trying to help her may be hiding secrets of their own.
One of the most frightening ideas behind #MyDeath is how easily tragedy can become entertainment. People often watch shocking videos without thinking about the real person on the other side of the screen. They comment, argue, laugh, and share while someone else’s worst moment becomes another piece of online content.
In VANTA’s world, watching is not harmless.
